About DEY GEM Jewelry

DEY GEM Jewelry is owned and operated by Don E. Yarbrough, Jr. and his wife Rebecca.

Don attended the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology in Paris, Texas where he graduated from the Gemological Science program in 1988 with a certificate in Jewelry Technology and Gemology. Additionally, Don earned a certificate in Diamond and Diamond Grading from the Gemological Institute of America.

After relocating to Harrison in 1989, Don worked as a bench jeweler and sales associate at Markey Jewelers for nine years. When the owners of Markey Jewelers retired in 1997, Don and Rebecca purchased the business. They changed the name to DEY GEM Jewelry. DEY stands for Don’s initials and GEM represents "gemstone." The store, originally located in the Ozark Mall, moved to its current location in the Crossover Plaza in 1999.

We are proud to be members of several organizations that help us to be a superior resource for quality jewelry, service and support.
