"Goodbye"
The time has come to say our final "Goodbye". Thanks to all of you, we had a FANTASTIC retirement sale. We sold out of merchandise sooner than we had expected which enabled us to close in April instead of May. THANK YOU EVERYONE for making that possible! We also were able to liquidate all of our furnishings and fixtures. Some furnishings found their way into your home while others found new purposes. Our front check-out counter is now a media center for Open Door Baptist Church. Our two wood showcase islands (custom made by Bob Parkhill 26 years ago) have gone to two new businesses to open here in Harrison ... as well as our "Big Mama" safe. Our lighted outer showcases were divided up with some of them going to another new business in Yellville and the rest to the Boone County Heritage Museum here in Harrison. The giftwrap workstation has traveled to its new home in an auto shop in Rogers. So even though DEY GEM has ended its journey, part of what we worked so hard to created will now help others with their journey. Again, thank you everyone for 28 wonderful years!
